We Love Local Raleigh Makers & Goods!

One thing we love about our community is all of the amazing local artists and makers.  We’re thankful to have the opportunity to showcase a few of these here at our salon.
If you’ve ever walked through our doors and been hit with the scent of a cozy winter night or a Carolina coast, we’re probably burning one of our favorite Wicks for Wags candles.https://wicksforwags.com  They come in a variety of seasonal and unique scents.  Plus, a portion of the proceeds go to helping dogs in need. Puppies are involved?! *Buys five.*
We’ve carried Peace Props https://www.peaceprops.comsinus pillows for a while now, and use them daily on our clients. If you’ve been at the shampoo bar recently, you got to experience one of these toasty pillows firsthand.  Relieve sinus pressure and let the day melt away with lavender, eucalyptus, and peppermint. Plus these are made from 100{5bd29328cdc9401ae7b168615b353f40754a28c771fd8248ba1fba8b85b084c3} organic cotton.
Hygge Jewelry https://www.hyggejewelry.comis new to our salon this year, with beautiful, minimal necklaces and earrings.  Made with natural stones and delicate 14k gold and sterling silver chain and findings, these pieces are simple enough for everyday wear, but unique enough that you may want to save them for a special occasion.
Angelica Gale’s turban twist headband is the gift that keeps on giving.  These cuties spruce up your day-four-still-haven’t-washed-my-hair looks, add style while you’re at the gym, and keep those strays out of your face during face washes or masks.  They come in a variety of colors and patterns, and as Angelica is a cancer survivor, $1 from every sale goes to Make a Wish Foundation of Eastern, NC. See? Giving and giving and giving.
This past year we’ve been particularly lucky to showcase two artists here at our salon.  One being Janelle Piotrowski’s ink and collage work, the other being our very own Kerry Lott’s pen & ink floral drawings.  Their pieces have truly changed the space here at Meraki, and all are available for purchase.  Janelle also has some of her work as stickers for just $5.  Be sure to check them out at your next appointment, or visit their websites:
